Our journey began with a simple idea: small businesses can spark big change. When Elizabeth and Chris opened the Monsoon Monkey gift shop, they felt the unique spirit of Mt. Lemmon. With her background in healthcare and a deep caring for all creatures on earth, Elizabeth, alongside Chris, who grew up on Mt. Lemmon, envisioned the Monsoon Monkey Foundation. This foundation aims to provide local community support, fostering environmental initiatives and aiding families, artists, and animals. Born from gratitude and love, our foundation demonstrates that kindness and community action can create a lasting impact.
