Founders
Elizabeth brings compassion, leadership, and a passion for helping others within the Mt. Lemmon community. As a Physical Therapist, she spent over 2 decades helping patients through what may have been the most difficult time in their lives. Due to her own declining health, she had to retire from the healthcare field. As she improved, she couldn’t think of a way where she could continue to help people. And then Bam!! The idea of making money and giving to those in need, became her future passion. “Doing Gods work, had to happen in some way. Otherwise, I could not live with myself. It’s clear to me, what I was put on this earth for. That is why we started the Monsoon Monkey Foundation.”
Chris, raised on Mt. Lemmon and attended the one room school house, from kindergarten through sixth grade, has deep community roots and a lifelong love for the mountain. Since becoming a young man, Chris has always planned to retire to Mt. Lemmon
and give back in what ever way he can. Being a vital part of the foundation, Chris has provIded care & service for those in need, Not just for those living on the mountain, but for those visitors in need of assistance, as well. Chris always avoids the camera, but we here at the Monsoon Monsoon Monkey Foundation, consider him a real asset.
Our Staff
Tzvia, our new shop manager, helps run the Monsoon Monkey gift shop. She brings her expertise in retail and management to enhance our mission. Bringing Tzvia into the Monsoon Monkey Foundation, is one of the best decisions we have made. She not only brings a wealth of information with her, she also has a very big heart. At her interview, I asked her why she wanted to work with us and she said “Because I love helping people accomplish their goals.” She has done so much for the gift shop and foundation, that it has been an honor to have her as part of the Monsoon Monkey family.
Our Supporters
We’re also powered by volunteers, local artists, donors, and neighbors who help turn good ideas into real impact, showcasing the importance of community support. As we are just beginning our journey with the Monsoon Monkey Foundation, we plan to include as many of you as possible, to help accomplish our goals of giving back. As more information is released about the foundation, we hope you will sign up to volunteer. The more volunteers, the more difference we can all make.
